Bid Manager

We have an amazing opportunity for a suitably experienced Bid Manager to join a fabulous company based in Omagh, Northern Ireland.

The Bid Manager will play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the company by managing and overseeing all aspects of the bid and tendering process, and sourcing new opportunities for review.

Required Experience

  • A proven track record in the construction tendering process with +3 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of bidding best practice techniques
  • Practical experience of bid management
  • Able to effectively plan own workload and that of others, work to tight deadlines in high pressure situations
  • Experience of working within a tender/pre-construction environment
  • An impeccable attention to detail

Desired Experience

  • Experience in managing bid teams within the construction sector;
  • Experience of managing joint bids, consortia bids and / or bids involving a large number of sub contractors;
  • Successful experience in export selling outside Northern Ireland;
  • A proven ability in marketing;
  • A developed knowledge of best practice in key construction management areas such as health and safety, quality management, sustainability, programme management, social impact etc

 

 

Required Skills

We are looking for applicants that are pro-active, have the drive and commitment to deliver results with minimal supervision, who are highly organised, and have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with people at all levels of the business. We are also looking for someone who is highly proficient in MS Office
